RD&E 12 WARDS

Fire stopping works were carried out at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E Exeter) to enhance compartmentation and maintain the building’s fire integrity in line with current fire safety regulations.

The scope of works included:

Installation of certified fire stopping systems to service penetrations (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
Sealing of linear gaps and joints within walls and floors using approved fire-resistant materials.
Fire batt and mastic installation around cable trays, pipework, and ductwork.
Application of fire-rated sealants and collars where required.

ALMSHOUSES EXETER

We delivered specialist firestopping solutions across multiple historic residential properties for Almshouses Exeter, ensuring full compliance with current fire safety regulations while preserving the character and integrity of these heritage buildings.

RETIREMENT VILLAGES

We have delivered passive fire protection works across a number of retirement village developments at various locations, supporting site managers and principal contractors in maintaining compliant, safe living environments for residents.

ARLA TAUNTON

We delivered a £1 million passive fire protection package at Arla Foods’ production facility in Taunton, supporting major upgrade works within a live, high-demand manufacturing environment.

Scope of Works

This large-scale project involved extensive firestopping installations across multiple production zones, plant areas, and service corridors, including:

Fire sealing of high-volume mechanical and electrical penetrations
Installation of fire-rated batt and mastic systems
Large-diameter pipe and cable tray sealing
Fire collars and wraps to plastic pipework
Compartmentation upgrades to plant rooms and service risers

NORTH DEVON SCHOOLS

We carried out a programme of fire door and firestopping works at Marland School and Lampard Community School, enhancing compartmentation and life safety measures across both educational settings.

Scope of Works

Our works were delivered in accordance with current fire safety standards and tailored to the operational needs of the schools. The package included:

Installation and replacement of certified fire doorsets
Upgrades to existing fire doors, including intumescent strips and smoke seals
