4000sqm Fire Batt Wall

Progress Update 🙌



The Vesta Sol team has now successfully completed 500m² of a 4,000m² Firefly Batt Wall System installation, with works continuing on this large-scale passive fire protection project.



The Firefly Batt Wall System is designed to create robust fire-resisting compartmentation within concealed roof voids and roof spaces. By subdividing large voids into smaller fire compartments, the system helps to restrict the unseen spread of fire and smoke, maintaining the integrity of the building’s passive fire strategy and providing valuable time for evacuation and firefighting operations.



Every section is installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s tested details, including the correct fixing centres, support framework, jointing methods and perimeter sealing to ensure the required fire resistance performance is achieved. As with all passive fire protection, the quality of the installation is just as important as the product itself.



With 500m² now complete of the 4,000m² installation, it’s been a fantastic start by the team. We look forward to progressing the remaining phases and delivering another fully compliant passive fire protection solution.
