Keeping Car Parks Protected!

Another fire stopping project completed in a local car parks in Exeter 🔥

Passive fire protection plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of a building during a fire, helping to slow the spread of smoke and flames through service penetrations and structural openings.

On this project, works included sealing around cable trays, pipe penetrations, and service routes to ensure the compartmentation of the building remains fully protected and compliant. Every penetration was carefully prepared and sealed using the correct fire-rated materials and systems.

Fire stopping is often overlooked because most of the work is hidden from sight, but it is one of the most important parts of building safety. Properly installed fire stopping can save lives, protect property, and help buildings meet current fire safety regulations.

Proud to be carrying out high-standard passive fire protection work across Exeter and the surrounding areas.
